Skyaid Watch Meteor Burst Communication
It appears that Skyaid Watches can use Meteor Burst communications:
which require very few base stations - about 5 base stations would cover all of
North America

Skyaid Watch Voicemail
This functionality has been added to the Skyaid
Watch
design -
It provides a positive reason to wear the watch everyday and gets the interest
of watch manufacturers

Evolution of Lifesaving
A 'notional' graph of how more lives will be saved by Skyaid over time was
created.
If this graph communicates the information a numeric graph will be created to
replace it.

Emergency Medical
How many more lives could be saved if quicker response were possible??
- We know that faster-is-better in the case of sudden cardiac arrest, but how
many more lives could be saved in say auto accidents if the EMT crew could
arrive 10 minutes more quickly. - or 1 hour more quickly in some places around
the world - rural US, India, etc.
FDA: investigate if the FDA
will be likely to want to regulate the Skyaid Watch.
Probably no problem with monitoring heart rate for sudden cardiac arrest,
but FDA may have problems if Skyaid Watch is used to confirm that a stroke is in
progress.
How much is a life worth? - often more than 20X annual
income

Bill Gates expressed frustration
Nov 4 about not being able to
improve lives of children around the world by giving computer technology.
http://www.skyaid.org/Skyaid%20Org/Nonprofit/gates_loses_faith_in_computers.htm
We need to point out to Bill and the Gates Foundation that:
Skyaid exploits computer technology, but not
computers.
The use of Skyaid will subsidize better health for
everyone in the third world countries which use it.
Skyaid will noticeably reduce the # 1 and # 3 causes
of adult death in virtually every country of the world.
Cost to save a life with Skyaid is now estimated to be
about $100.
The Skyaid cost to eliminate a year of disability is
about $10 (I will compute this soon)
compared to cost to save a year of disability with a single air bag- $70,000
or dual air bag $399,000.
New items in Stroke Section
http://www.skyaid.org/Skyaid%20Org/Medical/Stroke.htm
Gum Disease doubles risk of stroke
Better outcome from a stroke
Skyaid wants to reduce the time to get to not just a hospital, but a stroke
center to about 1 hour
- so that tPA can be used and thus the effects of a stroke can be greatly
reduced.
More strokes if doctor/hospital is not experienced with a CEA surgery
Stroke Patients Treated Effectively By Emergency Room Physicians
Strokes can
be identified before arriving at the hospital.

STROKE is a BRAIN attack and is the
third leading cause of death in the U.S.
75-80% of all STROKES are associated with blockages in the carotid arteries –
and are preventable!
Almost half of the people who are going to have a STROKE have no symptoms prior
to the time of stroke.
STROKE – the #1 reason for admission into nursing homes.
